* * * Rules Committee Vacancies: There will be two Rules Committee vacancies up for nomination and vote in Calgary; one Canadian member and the Member-at-large.
Canada: David Johnson’s interim term ends. This term will run from March 2010 thru March 2013. The nominee must be a Canadian Air Traffic Controller and belong to a team that is a member of the tournament. Member-at-large: This term will run from March 2010 thru March 2012. The nominee must be an Air Traffic Controller and belong to a team that is a member of the tournament, but can be from any Country. Your tournament needs highly motivated volunteers to throw their names in the hat for these positions of great importance. There are many exciting projects in the works for International ATC Hockey and you can get in on the ground floor! Experience not necessary but participation is. As a rules committee member, you will be required to meet for approx. four hours in the afternoon/evening the day before the tournament starts and approx. four hours on Saturday morning after the tournament ends. And of course, there could be a meeting or two during the week if needed. Lunch is sometimes provided! Think about it. Interested? Come see what happens in a Rules Committee meeting as any and all tournament participants are invited to sit in and observe the Rules meeting on Monday March 1, 2010 in Calgary, time and place TBA, but most likely in the late afternoon. Elections for Rules Committee members will be held at the Thursday team rep meeting. Nominations must be submitted in writing to the Host prior to the meeting at which elections will occur. A new member's term and voting right begins at the conclusion of the Saturday rules committee meeting; however, new members are encouraged to attend the Saturday meeting.
Your hockey tournament needs you!!!
