RINK: Southland Leisure Centre 20 teams Hosted by players from Winnipeg Charity: For 25 years, Children's Wish Foundation of Canada has granted wishes to over 15,000 children, ages 3-17, with life threatening illnesses. International ATC Hockey YYC 2010 presented a $5000 donation to Trever Eagles of Children's Wish Foundation.

Pierre Marcoux Individual Esprit-de-Corps - Dave Johnson, Winnipeg Blews. Donna Johnson accepted this award for Dave, as he was called to Chile on Monday of the tournament to participate in another CMAT search and rescue mission. Because of Dave's volunteerism; co-hosting YVR 2008, serving 5 years on the Rules Committee, and unselfish service to others in time of need, he was named the winner of the 2010 International ATC Hockey Tournament Pierre Marcoux Esprit-de-Corps Individual Award.
Esprit-de-Corps Team Award -Team Zolne Woodpeckers. The entire team accepted this award and came up on stage and sang an old traditional Slovenian song about the vine and life - kolko kaplic tolko - in loose translation; the number of the vine drops shall be the number of the years that we shall live on earth. It's always good to get a new team in the tournament, particularly such great guys.

It about the same time Sidney Crosby was scoring his golden goal at the Vancouver Winter Olympics, another international hockey tournament was getting underway on Canadian ice. This one was in Calgary, and some of the most dedicated hockey players in the global Air Navigation System were there.
